saturday madness

the ten-min walk from the station to the office in glasgow has a string of busking pitches along it, mostly indifferent/tourist-friendly pipes, percussion and guitars. one i stop and listen to is a group of crazy drummers, all blokes of about 40 in a brown plaid kilt with a young piper; they are cracking. and this lot i would listen to again - i'm a sucker for anyone talented playing uke/banjo/mandolin, and a well-played harmony, and some nice 70s rock. this lot doing 'freebird' was a sight to behold :-) i listened, i took a pic, and i gave them a couple of quid. it seemed the thing to do.
