Rejuvenation

Sometimes a touch of sun is all it takes to feel quite well again. I'm home today, don't want to take my nasty snotty germs into work, and have so far managed to get not much done, despite my best efforts. But once this is written I'll stop on one assignment and try to get at least the intro done on a much larger and more important essay.

But I'm sick, that's as good an excuse for a break with a book (just finished North and South, amazing, new favourite, and started The Valley of Horses) in the glorious spring sunshine, with the rays beaming through the tissue paper clouds, many many many birds gossiping all around, and the cat chasing bumble bees, broken only occasionally by my snorfing or coughing. I may feel a lot more fine now, but I'll be grotty for a few days yet. Ugh.

And there you go. I tend to get a bit whiny and repetitive when I'm sick, so it's probably better if I just stop here. Did I mention I'm sick? :D

Just to pre-empt your thought process, I'm splaying my toes out here - they aren't naturally so gappy...
