Half term!
I'm off work for eleven whole days. Hooray! Today the sun was out, it was a little warmer than the past few days and yesterday's clouds had turned into empty threats, thankfully. The containers outside our house are starting to spring into life. I haven't done anything but water them as they are full of perennials. Not planted many bedding plants yet. Have a few waiting to be put into pots: you can see them in the red box. They are pretty special as they were grown by one of the classes at school. Hopefully I will get some more bedding plants during the holiday if we can squeeze in a visit to a garden centre.
This morning, Grace and I went to Rhythm Time in Haltwhistle and then on to my friend Trudie's place (she was the bride in the wedding photo a few weeks ago). Last year, we had the same due dates when we were pregnant. Her little lad Noah ended up being born eight days before Grace, but is about twice her size. Grace is very small for her age though. Having said that, Noah is a fine strapping lad for his age! He is a real sweetie :)
