All that remained this morning of Levines furniture shop, and the hopes of at least two colleagues who had ordered new wardrobes, and British Heart Foundation furniture store, and the two settees donated last week by my friend John, that were in the window on Sunday morning, but no more on Sunday night.
And by the time I left work at nine o'clock tonight, all this had been cleared to the ground. Amazing how fast such huge buildings can disappear.
