The unit's Church at Östanbäcks monaster

I go by the monks of Östanbäck when I go to my cabin. And now today when I drove past, so I got to see that the monks built themselves a church.

The first brothers moved in November 1970 into the teacher's apartment. 1972 could move to the larger building where the chapel and monks' cells provisionally decorated.

Kitchens are now under the same roof as the chapel, of course, the central point. Downstairs is available for visitors. The older first house became a guesthouse. The monastery receives guests who for various reasons, need peace and quiet, or perhaps a safe haven for thoughts.

You get yourself set up their quiet days, but can have conversations with one brother. We're into account the brothers and guests with sensitivity to certain smells and pray that you come in clothes without perfume from eg fabric softener. A gift to the cost of food and space is not a condition, but is gratefully received. After several days of silence are expected to participate in the practical chores to some extent.
