Missed by a whisker

Charlie is back from the vet and seems 100% ok, he has a bandage to be taken off on Thursday. Nurse said he might be a bit subdued as he did 5' standing jumps in vet reception - don't think so somehow!

Off to meet an old business buddy for dinner (hence missing train into city). We both sold up our businesses to the same acquirer in 1999 that soon went bust (not our fault), and I catch up with Chris about once a year, when we happen to be in the same city to swap war stories.
