Save Inverleith Park Protest

The " Save Inverleith Park" protest this morning, outside the City Chambers, High Street, Edinburgh.

The Council were planning to sell off 3 acres of the famous Edinburgh park for private housing.

The campaign was a success. Here is a quote from the The Friends of Inverleith Park website: -

"The council has thrown out plans to sell off part of Inverleith Park. It will never be sold, and any future use will be in consulatation with the community. The area will be re-zoned to honour the historical boundaries of the Park.
