Common Darter

A bit of a dull day. I went up to London on the early train and was stuck in a souless and windowless office until about 3pm. Got back and found someone had double parked trapping my car in the car park . Rather than sit fuming in the car I took a stroll around the playing fields where I bumped into this Common Darter basking in momentary burst of late afternoon sun. Consequently when I got back to the car I was in a very affable mood and perfectly pleasant to the double parker when they turned up a few minutes later. Funny how things turn out.
