Amazing flowering season

I have no idea what this weed is but if not pulled, can be prolific. This one, seems to have survived regardless! It is amazing that so few other plants can flower for a whole season, but this thing seems to bloom in May and still it produces flowers in October!

I finished a meeting at 2.45pm and managed 3 hours work at home. It's amazing what can be achieved with no phone going, emails turned off and space to spread out without getting in anyone else's way. Two days til the October break - and after it 10 gruelling weeks of nitty gritty - and the "C" word. Those in teaching will now why this word will not be said in its extended version until 1.12.11!

Am ready for a break and to see the parentals again. Got a lunch booked with my sister and her family as well as a cousin get together with my Edinburgh side of the family. Hope to go over to Argyll for a trip, lunch and just to get dad out for a change of scenery. Might make a trip to West Kilbride (fingers crossed - note to fellow blipper!). Must find a winter wardrobe...but hate shopping! Can't wait!
