Away With The Fairies

I like the way these dandelion seed heads are just damp enough to turn white but not wet enough to droop. They really stood out against the green grass like white flowers instead of their usual fluffy translucence or vivid yellow.

They made me think of feathers, tiny feathers for fairies to use as writing quills or pillow stuffing.

I wrote a story today and maybe I'm still in my little imaginary world!
