A Good Book And A Nice Cup Of Tea

Today has been fifteen different kinds of shite poop. Doesn't really matter why. I've just been stressed, tired, sore and sad. I took my mum for her shopping today and in Tesco I saw a fabulous wee old woman wearing a bright blue fleece and carrying a red, imitation rose. No idea why, but I didn't have my camera with me or I'd have shot her. She looked so cheery.

We also went to Poundland where my mum bought me some books, including one I'd had on my Amazon Wishlist for ages, The Mesmerist by Barbara Ewing. The other two just looked good.

My husband always says I have three things I never, ever want to run out of: toilet rolls, teabags and books. So here are two of these things captured together. And being a mum is the best thing about my life.
