And now there are three.
Once there were 5, recently we found one dead and one gone, clearly the work of Mr Fox. One of the lost was Woggly One, we called her that because she had what seemed to be an arthritic hip and had an awkward gait. Poor geese. These three looked very wary when the discovery was made and had moved into the lower field where the sheep are. I think they are much happier now and looked quite relaxed this afternoon.
The temperature has dropped and it is back to a distinctly autumnal feel. Had another little baking session this morning, very satisfying on a cold day. Later on, (it being Tuesday, no rehearsal), we are off to York Theatre Royal to see Forty Years On by Alan Bennett. A busman's holiday - can't wait!
