A new tenant in an old coffin in the crypt

This ancient, ornate, Roman coffin lies, with several others, in the crypt of Palermo Cathedral.

The Roman who was originally buried in the coffin was evicted and cast aside during the Middle Ages when the coffin was taken into the Cathedral to be used for the burial of some important noble or cleric.
