Monday

Pretty good day today. I had to get dressed up for a fancy meeting. I whine about having to wear heels all day, but it is kinda nice to be greeted with a well put-together image every time I glance in a mirror during the day. The meeting itself was only 15 minutes long, but went well. Got some work done, did my grocery shopping, gave the kitchen a good scrub and made spaghetti for this week's lunch. This sauce is one of the few positive things I learned from my ex. All you do is buy sauce in a jar and throw some fresh vegetables in it, but that never would've occurred to me on my own (I'm not the most creative cook). Now for a manicure and a [relatively] early night; I'm hoping to get myself out of bed early enough for a walk in the morning.
