Red Is Best

Oh, I do love backlit reds. And this would be the season for them.
The glorious weather continues. Tonight it's cool enough that RS has a fire going in the woodstove. He could let it go out now but he's never quite grasped the idea of a little fire just to take off the chill.

Several years ago when we were together with friends at New Year's someone asked, as a conversation starter, "What was your favourite toy as a child?" It led to some considered, descriptive and interesting answers. RS was succinct. "Matches!" he responded. And that probably tells quite a lot about him. (He has always used them responsibly.)
