Un nouveau chapitre

So. After 9 years and 10 months of working at the same company, I find myself on the edge of a 6 month career break. It's a weird feeling.

Today was just like any other day except that when I closed my laptop down and turned my phone off this evening, I did so knowing that I wouldn't turn them on again for 6 months!

Tonight some colleagues and I went out in Cardiff for my 'sabbatical do' and very nice it was too. Apart from the nasty stuff they made me drink.
