Business as Usual

The great British workman - business as usual... Okay, so it's a bit unfair, it was lunchtime...

Business as usual for me though, back in the office. Nowhere near as stressful as I thought it might be, but it was very odd being sat at a desk for a day. On my two main projects one has lain virtually dormant while I've been away; the other has had a massive spanner thrown into the mix from out of the blue (ooh, cliché-tastic!) with something that should have been done 6 months before I even joined the company.

Business. As. Usual.

Very briefly bumped into Scobes, who looked like a man on several missions.

And diagnosed the skipping chain on the way home as a worn cassette interacting unsatisfactorily with the new chain put on yesterday to replace the snapped version from before the holiday. Fortunately the Bicycle Works is en route, and the only bike shop int he city open at times to suit the homeward-bound cycle commuter. New cassette bought; now fitted and the diagnosis proven correct. Marvellous. Everything now shiny new.

4 days till the weekend...
