Conniston Water

Head up to the lakes ... the hotel forgets to charge us for our dinner which puts Jules in a better mood! Pick up Teri from Windemere station and then go an find our campsite at Grizedale. End up in a spot up in the trees ... which is fab. Shame John and Alana couldn't join us ... its the perfect party spot with a fire spot in the middle. We go and buy food and fuel and sit by Conniston Water with a beer snapping away and then return to our campsite, make a fire, cook and drink lots. A cool evening but something bites my leg ...not sure what but it hurts! This is Jule's first time in the Lakes and his first proper camping weekend. It seems he has to drink rather a lot to be able to sleep in a tent so by the time we hit the sleeping bags he's pretty silly!
