Springtime in October??

It's not only the spiders that are affected by this heatwave - my forsythia is smothered in blossom!! I tried blipping the whole bush but the blossom did not show up as it is still in full leaf - will it still look like this next March? I wonder?
oh well - it could be snowing by the weekend!
