The View Today

I don't know how I survived a really crazy, mad Monday at school today.

When we drove home a different route, I decided to stop and take a few photos as I knew my Blip opportunities were not very good today. The dam looked lovely and blue after the big storms of the weekend. I love seeing the yachts on the water and have often said I should stop along this edge of the dam. There are lots of willow trees on this side and I couldn't get a shot without them hanging in somewhere.

We woke up today and still had no electricity. Got to school and started working while charging my phone and computer. Quickly sent my Blip through from yesterday and tried to cope with the mad rush of people needing my attention.

After about an hour and a half the electricity at school went off. One of the mine trucks that I blipped last month had broken an electrical wire which was across its path. Power was off for the rest of the day. Not sure if it has been restored there yet.

It is amazing just how much work I do on my computer. I felt so lost not being able to function properly.

Got home about 4pm to find our power was back on. We had power for about 1 hour and then it went off again. Right now (6:30pm) it is back on. So I am not taking a chance - Blip for the day is being sent NOW!

Then its bath time, feed everyone (humans and pets) and be ready for tomorrow morning. Let's hope we manage to get some washing done too!
