A new beginning

What a day. This is the first of 6 bags for Imogen's Bone Marrow Transplant. (not what you were expecting perhaps?) A very emotional day for us, and a very special one. I believe some people have classed this as their birthday. How true, as this is the start of a new life.
The transplant was done over 2 days as they didn't want the body to have an overload of the preservatives that freezes the Bone marow. (Which stinks of tinned sweetcorn..)
I can't thank my husband Alex enough for his bone marrow. A truely special man,
