Belated Birthday

I'm a Bad Godmother.

That sounds a bit like a Wicked Stepmother, doesn't it? But it's worse because I agreed to the privilege of being Fraser's godmother rather than having him foisted upon me, and yet I still managed to be two weeks late delivering his first birthday present.

He did seem to rather like it though - well, he liked the brightly-coloured paper and the frog on the card anyway.

That's the whole point of presents when you're 1, isn't it?
