Luzzi in Marsaxlokk

Today back to Malta not before viewing the breathtaking coast of Dwejra, unexpected discover of a fossil bed where you can walk on!
Sea urchin, bivalves amazing find but concerning because of the deterioration resulting from human activity.

So all the way down to Marsaxlokk that is a traditional fishing village located in the south-eastern part of Malta.
The village?s name comes from marsa, which means "port" and xlokk, which is the local name for south east. The word is related to the name for the dry sirocco wind that blows from the Sahara, comparable to the equivalent Catalan word, "xaloc".

Very quite at night with beautiful restaurants that serves fresh fish caught on the luzzi fishing boats during the night, bliss.
