Conkers

I have been on a conker hunt and found lots of the little beauties so watch out you nasty creepy crawly spiders!

I ended up at a little village nearby called Spridlington I wanted a picture of the Manor house because when my dad was a young PC about 70 years ago one of his first jobs was a call probably carrier pigeon from Spridlington Hall(now the manor) to say that somone had been found hanging in the barn not a very nice job so there is no wonder that the memory of this job stuck with him along with one or two others that he divulged on very rare occasions after his retirement God Bless Him x
So instead this is a view of the trees outside the said house where I found my conkers.
At the same time the red arrows were practising overhead but unfortunately my little camera had no chance of catching a shot of them!!
