It's been a good day. I got a fabulous and unexpected mark for my moot, the sun shone, and I spent part of my afternoon drinking too much tea with a friend. Sure, my nose is a bit stuffed up, I can't stop sneezing or coughing, my jaw's aching, and I'm pretty sure a chaffed, red nose is next, but that's ok.

And now I'm trying to think of something to write for my photo. I needed a photo before going to bed, and thought this week's challenge of colours seemed fair game. I could go with pretentiously poignant:

Life is like a slinky, no matter how many times you fall down someone will always pick up back up again.

or sleepyhead comedic

I had a little slinky
Its life was rather glum.
I thought it would be dinky
To wear it on my thumb.

or... No, that's it. I'm out.

I have something I want to blip, but have to find the right picture. I know where I can find that, but it's too far a drive for an everyday shot, so I'll see if I can find something a little closer to home.
