Perfect day.

So I woke up bright and early this morning to go meet up with an old uni friend who happened to be visiting her sister who lives in Cambridge. Was so good seeing her and talking about old times and catching up on everything. Great start to the day. After that headed home to meet mum and drive her to Salem for some sight seeing.

Started out with coffee and lunch in my favourite café in the whole world, Gulu-Gulu in Salem. Had the most delicious coffee I've had in a long time, possibly ever and ate some of the delicious food. I could live in that café.

Afterwards I took mum on the Salem trolley tour which she loved. Think she's really taken with Salem and we're going to properly spend the day there on her birthday next week.

Once we were done mum treated me to a shopping spree. I could absolutely get used to that kind of treatment. So yes. Fabulous day of coffee, chat and sightseeing makes for a happy Claire. :)
