Building in the churchyard

As the heatwave continued today, I went 'blackberrying' with a friend. Every year I like to pick enough blackberries to make two apple and blackberry crumbles - one for now and one to save as a treat for Christmas.

We found plenty of blackberries between Lower Benefield and Brigstock and on the way called in on the churchyard at St Mary's church Lower Benefield. It's a beautifully peaceful place and in the corner is this lovely old building.

For the record: 28C again but more clouds in the sky today so the heatwave is drawing to an end.
