dragonfly/damselfly?

I'm here again asking for your help. Are they dragonflies of damselflies or even something else?

Had a lovely weekend, last night was a great success celebrating various birthdays in the family. Then today went for a walk at Fairburn ings, which is an RSPB nature reserve near Castleford, W Yorks.

We had a great walk around and found this pair being a little bit 'cheeky!'. Not the only pair either. I think we'd turned into lovers lane when we walked down near the pond, they were everywhere! It was a fabulous sight (hope that doesn't sound too pervy ha ha) just wish that they'd decided to do their thing on a lovely leaf, or some long grass but no they were all lined up on a very boring fence. Never mind still a good photo opportunity.

Don't want to go to bed tonight because that means its Monday when I get up! Not that I don't like going to work but weekends are such a lovely family time!
