There is a Light and it Never Goes Out

Up and at 'em early today despite the excesses of last night. Me and Stucks went out where there were people who were young and alive But it wasn't for us so we came *straight* back home! And a much better time was had.

Enjoyed our morning brew listening to Andrea Bocelli and decided that he's another bloke we both have a thing for. We just love those silver foxes :)

Today we went shopping where I stocked up on anti wrinkle serum. I am going to just squeeze it all over my face before bed tonight!

Then S drove us to my favourite cafe in Holmfirth, Penny Lane - for fat chips and iced coke.

Felt a bit flat since she headed back - combination of stressing about what I have to get sorted for the move, other stuff going on and being messed about a bit by someone...and letting myself be messed about with when I *really* should know better.

Me and S indulged in a bit of Smiths worship this morning and last night, I even got us both a bunch of Gladioli today. Haven't stuck mine in my back pocket yet. Although my hair has been in a quiff all afternoon.

The house is nice and tidy in case we have any potential viewers and smelling nice due to the candle that has been burning all day.

So today - There is a light that never goes out. Mine and S's song. Always.

Take me out tonight
Where there's music and there's people
Who are young and alive
Driving in your car
I never never want to go home
Because I haven't got one anymore

Take me out tonight
Because I want to see people
And I want to see life
Driving in your car
Oh please don't drop me home
Because it's not my home, it's their home
And I'm welcome no more

And if a double-decker bus
Crashes into us
To die by your side
Is such a heavenly way to die
And if a ten ton truck
Kills the both of us
To die by your side
Well the pleasure, the privilege is mine
