Number 214!

..which means that today I finished my Wainwrights (a list of 214 mountains in the English Lake District, as compiled by the late Alfred Wainwright). In horizontal rain, but with good friends - one of whom was with me on my very first. In fact, I guess I can blame her for it all! Castle Crag. I am drinking my summit champagne now - it would have been 90% water had we had the traditional celebration on top! At least it's been there with me! (and I can actually enjoy it now...) I've taken my time over them, but I am surprised how warm a glow it was to have completed them. Well, cheers then, AW. Let this be just the beginning.
