Baltic herring fair

Some things never change. Helsinki's traditional Baltic Herring Fair is in full swing again, 2 - 8 October 2011 at the Market Square. My lunch place is decided for the next week. This is the third time i blip the happening. Last year the weather was sunny and warm. The year before it was more changing. The colourful event has been held regularly since 1743.
