I was meant to be abseiling this morning, but I had the opportunity to swap to kayaking. With the weather forecast being so good, I decided to take the swap. We were told that the tandem sea kayaks were very stable & almost impossible to roll but Paul & I accidentally gave rolling the kayak a good try. My heart was in my mouth for about 3 seconds as I was convinced we were going in. Fortunately, we didn't & the 90 minutes we spent on Carsington Water resulted in us leaving a little damp from being splashed by the others but not in a total soaking.
