Doctor! Doctor!

So I'm in the middle of taking my Criminal Justice exam online, hadn't studied at all, and it is 100 questions which must be answered in order... no going back and changing your answers, and a 2-hour time limit. So while flipping through my textbook, I was also trying to figure out plans for the night through AIM conversations, and THEN my brother calls, "Hey, if I were to have, say, broken my foot... what should I do?" GAH.
What happened was this: he was riding my bike back from class for whatever reason, and was almost home... literally right in front of his dorm. My bike is a piece of work right now though... both brakes are shot, so in order to slow down, you have to yank up on one of the cables that runs over the lap bar. Classy... we know. Anyway, he was going fast when a car ran a stop sign and was for sure going to hit him. He yanked up on the cable hard enough to dodge the car, but it resulted in locking up his back wheel and fish-tailing him straight into the curb. Crash. He has a few cuts and scrapes on his arms and legs, but this foot got the worst of it. and now my bike has some more chipped paint and a ripped up seat with the padding coming out to add to its appeal.
Stupid people. The asshole that ran the stop sign didn't even stop to see if Jake was okay.
All this led to figuring out which places near here were open at the time and would work with our health insurance. Then he finds out he apparently never got or managed to lose his health insurance card, so he had to come over and borrow mine. "Oh, there might be a co-pay, too?" So he also borrowed $40. During this time, the 48 out of 100 questions I had already finished on my exam deleted themselves. Extra annoying because when you submit an answer, you have to click your choice, then click "submit," then an "are you sure you want to submit this answer?" box comes up and you have to click through that, as well. As if doing all that 100 times wouldn't have been more than enough already... I had to speed through to get all those answers submitted again. Stressful. Got a 91% though! and it turns out that Jake's x-ray didn't show a fracture... good deal. Still glad I got a picture, it was a pretty injury.
