Birthday Celebration

We've had a family get together today to celebrate my mum's 83rd birthday at Leeds 17, a restaurant in Alwoodley, Leeds. Her actual birthday is on Tuesday and some of us will be there for a second birthday celebration. This image is not quite as sharpe as I would have liked (and I had some sharper) but I liked the way she's surrounded by the flowers and she's looking relaxed at the camera.

Bobby has been a little grumpy and clingy with his parents. Jimmy was on form, performing for us on, what was very like a stage outside the restaurant.

We're away to Whitby/ Danby today for the second part of the birthday celebrations this morning. My brother is here from the States and asked if we would go with them. The morning is looking good at the moment, but the forecast is for rain north of York. I fear our Indian Summer is coming to an end!
