Beavers

Today's the day .............................. that went on and on

Up very early today, even before the sun rose because I had to go to work. Working on a Saturday always make me feel hard done by - you feel as if the whole world apart from you is on holiday. However, this trusty band of Beavers who had come for a visit went a long way to cheering things up with their infectious enthusiasm.

Had just got back home at the end of the working day to a telephone call saying that my Dad was not so good in hospital in Edinburgh. So there was no question that we needed to get in the car and drive up to see how things were.

It was very late when we eventually arrived after driving through the mist and rain. It had been a long day indeed ...............................
