Happy 1st Birthday

What a difference a Year makes!

Tomorrow is my great niece Isabella's (bella or izzy depending which you prefer) first Birthday. We have travelled up North to help her celebrate her first year. Izzy has just come out of hospital after 3 weeks after contracting meningitis and septicaemia. She is recovering very well and seems quite fitting that she ends her first year pretty much as she started it. full of drama!

The little minx is full of life and already has everyone eating out of her (very tiny) hands. She is still in 3-6 month old clothes on account of her being 2 months prem ... but for someone so tiny she sure has a set of lungs.

It is nice to see family and friends that I haven't seen in a while ... weather was great and we had a family BBQ.

Love this photo of Shaki and Izzy together ... needless to say she cried every time I attempted to go near her (Izzy that is, not Shaki lol) Think i'l stick to taking photo's and leave the baby stuff to Shaki. I got to hang out with Aaliyah, izzy's big sister and play with water bombs ... way more fun ;-) xx
