Autumn? What Autumn?
Better large!
Sunday morning, waking up to bright, warm, sunshine filtering through the curtains and feeling pretty good despite a beer or two with my gorgeous Thai meal, prepared by my sister and brother in law last night.
A quick run, in too hot temperatures and feeling full of self doubt prior to the run next weekend.
Back home, in shower hot, out of shower hot, off to St Andrew's Park to meet up with a work colleague and family (new!). St Andrew's Park must be the place as a friend Dan was also there with his kids, so after a refreshing and leisurely cup of tea, we had various chats including mountain biking, babies and the joys of being a parent.
Back home for a doorstop sandwich and then back out, passing a big crash at a difficult junction attended to by several components of the emergency services, getting stuck in the zoo traffic queue and finally to the Tobacco Factory to see a production of the Snow Dragon with the boys.
They loved it, we enjoyed it and even had time for a trip to Aldi (right next door) for some cheap peanut butter and some exotic muesli.
Opposite Aldi is this which is very impressive.
A cup of tea, mow the lawn, get ready for work. Bye, bye summer!
