My First Shrew

This weekend I visited my father after having his pacemaker fitted on Wednesday. On the way to Cambridge I stopped of at Milton Keynes to go snowboarding so had plenty of blips..snowboarding, watching England beat whoever they were playing at rugby :).. my Fathers pacemaker post-op bandages and new "bump" where the gadget is fitted, or even my father tucking into a chicken kebab and chips (don't tell the doctors). But this little fella came out of nowhere and beat them all. The first shrew I've ever seen. It didn't need taming, it wasn't really wild, just a little inconvenienced at our presence in the garden.

It as about the size of my thumb! I thought they would be bigger.
