Everything is beautiful
Aesthetics are everything in Japan, even the drain covers are beautiful!
This morning we booked our flights for going to Canada in January! These travels are a warm up for the main event in the new year.
Today was our chance to explore Osaka and this morning we headed for Osaka Castle. It is set in a big park which was bustling with people. There seem to be lots of clubs here and people really go for hobbies, we saw uni cycling groups, people practicing dance routines, jogging groups, people practicing mime and art classes going on. The castle looked very iconic Japan. We are headed for Kyoto tomorrow and I`m second guessing lots of photos of temples and gardens may be coming up which are similar.
As evening hit we struggled to find an ATM which would accept our cards, we must have tried 10 different banks before we discovered the bank had stopped our cash cards... leave that one for tomorrow. So we had to search out a restaurant which took visa, harder said than done here. We walked through the crazy city centre at night with neon flashing from everywhere and street sellers shouting about their restaurants. We found a traditional okonomiyaki restaurant which is kind of pancake like and a local speciality. It was good, we drank enough beer to qualify for paying by credit card and that`s another day in the Keba adventures!
