It may be small but it makes one hell of a noise!

Everywhere in Okinawa is noisy and out in the jungle it is really noisy! Insects are everywhere and I discovered that most of them like to nibble at you.

We couldn`t decide what to do with ourselves after breakfast. (Which was miso soup, pickled goya, spam frittas, omelette and a bowl of rice- Spam is everywhere in Okinawa!). Staying out in the middle of nowhere we were at the mercy of our hosts kindness and they gave us a lift to a pineapple park. It turned out to be quite a wierd place with a very catchy theme tune which was played everywhere and then repeated throughout the day by Andy at various points. We walked 7km back to the guest house in the midday sun and got ready for a bbq party in the evening. Friday marked the end of the tourist season on Minnajima and Jenko-San plus friends came over to stay at the same place as us and hosted a party. The kids really enjoyed trying out their English and found our Japanese hilarious! Lots of beers, too much bbq food and a dozen or so mosquito bites later we went to bed happy.
