Petanque!

On the last day of the Great Autumn Heatwave of 2011, we had our good friends the Hawtins pop down the road to ours for a barbecue and a few drinkies. The glorious weather, a few glasses of wine and remembering that I got a petanque set from them for my birthday last year led us to designate the gravel drive as a makeshift petanque court. Ooh la la!
