Greenfinch

I took this photo this morning when the birds were having breakfast.

As you can see my camera is not working very well, it is going to be looked at but if it cannot be fixed any ideas for a camera that can take good close up pictures of birds, insects flowers and general nature as well as street shots and sunsets/sunrises. Oh and it has to not be in the 4 figures either guys so any ideas gratefully recieved. I have 3 other lens that I think will fit on a Nikon, so might need to stick with Nikon's.

I know, I do not want much:)
