Home!!

Back to reality today....& it is good to be home too. Thanks for the comments on my kids yesterday - you did read their personalities so well :)

Had a long and exhausting trip home yesterday, aircraft engine problems, missed connections, an unexpected visit to Sydney instead of Brisbane, and finally getting home at 4am this morning!! Polly & Fergus so happy to see us, smooches, cuddles, purring and dribbles (cats that is)

Unpacking is such an arduous task in my book - tick
Washing out - tick
Washing in - tick
Lawns - half a tick (rugby & warriors have interrupted this)
Windows cleaned in living areas inside & out - tick (Doug is a good boy)
Blip - tick
Ironing - may happen???

Scrappy rugby, lots of injuries today, worrying. Bumma and very sad for DC.

Our property goes on the market on Thursday, hence the chores being done today...there is so much to do (with panic in my voice).

Back to work tomorrow for us both. Will be difficult for Doug, his secretary and good friend died very suddenly yesterday, just a young women, wife and mother, so tragic.
