Tree Ferns.

I have two tree ferns in the garden, and I have been waitibg with bated breath for the first frond to appear, and here it is.

It will be fun watching them uncurl over the next few weeks.

I was a bit worried about them, as I didnt wrap them up in duvets last winter....their duvets are made of gardening fleece and straw.

I just put leaves in the crown, and left them to the elements.

They must have acclimatized to our Scottish winters!!
