Wrong Place

Who says snails don't like rough surfaces?
Ones round here seem to delight in crawling up my wall - one was almost at roof level this morning.

Neither cat wanted to come in for breakfast this morning - most unusual.

I got really hacked off with - what turned out to be a female - van driver who parked on the pavement almost hard up against my hedge right across my front path this morning.
I had to turn sideways and squeeze past it to get out.
There is no way we could have got the cygnets pushchair past.
I was on the phone to the police about it when the woman came back and started getting stroppy about it. She was of the opinion that it was okay to park the way she had because she hadn't realised it was somebodies house.
She even admitted that all parents of kids involved in football games on the local pitches (of which she was one) had been told not to park in the street but to use the schools car park.
Two of the coaches I talked to after were not happy because they are aware of the problems are are frequently telling parents not to park here. They feel it gives their clubs a bad name and they are getting the blame.
It comes down to plain ignorance and lazyness on the parents part.
