Comfort Food II
This would be my other comfort food...yummy warm chocolate chip cookies! I felt like doing a little baking yesterday - taking them into work this morning to share. I did have one - just to make sure they were OK ;)
Here is the recipe - I hardly ever share it. What makes this unique and delish - the vanilla pudding mix, the toffee pieces, and all of the different chocolate chips - best cookies I've ever had...I've been making them for years...so moist and full of flavor. Enjoy!
And thank you for the comments yesterday on my shot - much appreciated ;)
BEST EVER CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 (3.4 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup mini peanut butter cup chips (like Reeses cups but smaller)
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup milk chocolate chunk chips
1/2 cup heath toffee bar pieces (cut into small pieces)
Preheat oven to 350. Sift together the flour and baking soda, set aside. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and toffee. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto un greased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.
