New Rubber

Earlier in the week I saw the good weather forcasted and decide to switch the road bike for the mountain bike. The plan was to park at Semington and cyle up the forest road to Lacock where I would join the cycle path which would take me straight into Chippenham town centre where I work.

To do this I decided to order some new tyres for the moutain bike to allow me to travel quicker on the road but to have some grip on the coarse gravelled cycle paths.

Unfornately my plans were scuppered when I discovered the cycle path is closed due to a dispute over access through farmers land and my tyres not turning up until today! I had to settle for the Road bike instead. I plan on taking Noah out on his bike tomorrow to try the new tyres out.

All being well the fine weather will continue and the cycle path will be fully open very shortly!
