Summer/Autumn

Glad it's the weekend. After one of the wettest, chilliest summers I can recall, the mercury hit at least 25 degrees C in the cloudless blue skies over Edinburgh today - just as we move into autumn.

Highlight of the week - meeting former US VP Al Gore in Edinburgh. Low point - an explosive pen leak ruining my shirt and suit.
