Playing Quickly

Haven't had time today to take a shot, I've been too busy making the most of the weather. I knew my girl and her friend would be around tonight and I thought I could play with some poses and see what the few lights (household) I have here are capable of. As always with teens, plans change and my girl is now off out. I had a 'quick 10 minutes' to set this up and shoot it.

I am still struggling with focus in low light. I have tried focus on auto then switching to manual but that doesn't seem as sharp either - however I will keep trying. Today I had a model who was happy to try poses and flexible enough to stay in them without it hurting (too much). Bendy things these youth!

Wednesday's raw emotions turned into Thursdays comforts. I now have a very clear picture in my mind of my dad, before his illness, yet still in his elder statesmanship. It's an image I have been trying to summon up for some time but have been unable to. Ah, the power of the photograph sent from his cousins in Seattle.
