Cake mix

Had a very leisurely day today pottering around the house and decided to bake a cake. I haven't tried this one before but this is the early stage of a pine kernal tealoaf. The final result is here. I've no idea what it tastes like. I'll save cutting it until later and let you know.
Had a fantastic night out last night with a very good friend who i don't see enough of. Whenever we meet up we can't help but have a giggle. The Caribbean restaurant was brilliant, but i hardly dare admit that i had, and enjoyed the curried goat, (sorry Trevor and Ros!).
Now the weekend begins and i have wine and a film lined up for later. Hope you all have a good one.
